Runner up in the 2024 Tigers in America-Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries annual photo and video contest to celebrate International Tiger Day.
“Scout was born in 2014 at a notorious breeding facility in Florida with his brother Atticus. They were pulled from their mother and sold to a roadside zoo. There they were used as photo cubs for the first 12 weeks of their lives.
“In October of 2016, Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, together with Tigers in America, went to work finding homes for over 100 big cats with other accredited sanctuaries across the United States. Scout and his brother Atticus arrived at WCR on January 1st, 2017. Scout is a handsome boy who is very vocal and more laid back than his brother.”
