“Cats at sanctuary are often experiencing peace for the first times in their lives. The goal of sanctuary is not only to provide them with a peaceful home, but to help the rescues find their peace within it. Polina was part of a large-scale neglect case before coming to sanctuary. She had several health issues, including a history of breathing difficulties. Understandably, this can be a lot for a rescue to work through. Thankfully, The Wildcat Sanctuary has been able to help her achieve her best self over the years. Now, she experiences the bliss of a free roaming habitat, breathing fresh air, and all the parts of a Wild-At-Heart life that she could desire. To see a cat like Polina enjoy sanctuary so freely and authentically is a true gift.”
