A Place to Go

There is a small landlocked country in the middle of eastern Europe called Slovakia where tiger cubs were seized from a private owner by authorities. Keeping big cats in a substandard facility, abusing and underfeeding them is not uncommon in United States or in Eastern Europe.

FOUR PAWS graciously agreed to take the cubs and transport them from Slovakia to their Sanctuary in South Africa. The two cubs, both girls, named Sky and Snow (because she is all white) were transported 8,000 miles from Zoo Bojnice in Slovakia, who agreed to hold them temporarily, to Johannesburg and by truck to Bethlehem South Africa to the Lionsrock Sanctuary where they will receive exceptional care for the rest of their lives.

TIGERS IN AMERICA was happy to provide financial assistance for their relocation and medical assistance for their recovery.
