“Sadly, Sanjiv was recently euthanized after a series of health conditions (including spinal and renal disease, hypertension and diabetes) made it impossible to safely treat his discomfort. Nevertheless, his legacy lives on through the cubs he fathered at the Topeka Zoo and Conservation Center under the AZA’s Species Survival Plan for the Sumatran Tiger.”
