When he first arrived at In-Sync, Cincinnatti weighed 246 pounds, which is about 60% of what he should weigh.
His fur is almost all gone from his shoulders back to his tail and he has raw angry looking bare spots on the inside of his legs and parts of his chest and belly. His vision may be impaired in his left eye from vitamin deficiencies, for which he is being treated. The keepers at In-Sync began feeding these tigers twice a day but Cincinnatti was so hungry he literally inhaled his food and needed help. He then was put on a feeding schedule of three meals a day in smaller portions so he could eat more slowly and digest his food without being frantic.
