Dumped by the zoo where she originated because she was going blind. Kya suffers from glaucoma, which could have been at least slowed down if she had been treated during her juvenile years. Popcorn Park worked to modify her enclosure and make sure that she would be comfortable with people coming to see her there.

This color usually shows up as a variation when people are trying to breed white tigers. It happens very seldom, and the forced inbreeding for white tigers is man-made genetic engineering, still with very unpredictable results – except lots of problems. Sahib’s litter-mate, Sultan, was a regular orange and black tiger.
