Tabu weighed 2 lbs 7oz at birth. She has shown great intelligence and has mastered the sit, lay, stay, up and come commands. Operant conditioning is not to train the cats to do tricks, but rather to enable their keepers to safely work around them, see their paws and bellies and treat them if there is a problem.
Tabu is known as the circus cat. If you watch her playing in her enclosure, she is always balancing on the edge of the pool or finding a different way to navigate the platforms or play with her toys. When resting, her paws are always hanging over the den or pool.
