Christopher came from a private owner in Missouri who could no longer care for his cats. Last October he was rescued together with tiger Caroline and two lions. Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge travelled from Arkansas to Missouri to load the tigers (Thank you, TCWR!) onto the Loving Friends Transport rig for a hair-raising trip to Nevada and their new forever home at Safe Haven Rescue Zoo in the high plains. The elderly lions were transported to their lush new home at Cedarhill Animal Sanctuary, again with help from Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge and Loving Friends Transport. All of the loading happened in a downpour so we have no pictures!
