Lambert was born in Portsmith, Ohio and shipped to Guam in a dog kennel as an 8 week old cub. His original destination was a dude ranch that failed and he found his way to a Zoo on Saipan where he spent 15 years. When the zoo was destroyed by a typhoon in 2018 he was discovered starving by the USDA, airlifted back to the mainland and accepted into the safety and lifetime care of The Wildlife Animal Sanctuary in Colorado.
