On Sep 30–Oct 1 the Peter Emily International Veterinary Dental Foundation provided dental care to animals at Exotic Feline Rescue Center. From PEIVDF’s summary: Our 2 day mission to beloved Exotic Feline Rescue Center is complete. We saw twelve patients that included tigers, foxes, a cougar, and a serval. Procedures included root canals, extractions, radiographic surveys and clinical exams. Our partnership with Loop Abroad continues to be fruitful with active participants that got hands on experience in anesthesia, endodontics, oral surgery and oral examinations taught from the expert teams of EFRC, University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and PEIVDF.
Tigers in America supports PEIVDF with grants to underwrite the costs of missions.
