“Douala was one of 200 animals rescued from a roadside zoo in Canada. Many of the animals were kept in deplorable conditions with no access to clean drinking water. Douala was kept in an unstable, rickety cage before being rescued. She went from a baren cage to having a lush, forest to roam. The picture shows just how content Douala is in her new home. She has no worries and nothing to fear. As we like to quote Anna Sewell: ‘My troubles are all over, and I am at home.’”
