Finalist in the 2024 Tigers in America-Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries annual photo and video contest to celebrate International Tiger Day.
“Before his rescue, tiger Thor Jr. was not allowed to be a tiger. He was reduced to a prop at a roadside zoo. Only after The Wildcat Sanctuary gave him a loving home did he feel safe enough to be the playful tiger he is. His infatuation for this one red ball is evidence. Of all his toys and enrichment, this red ball is his favorite. So much so that when he moved to a new habitat his caretakers made sure his red ball went with him.”
