Happy New Year

It has been a long and eventful year for Tigers in America that included 16 rescues of big cats and our first rescue of foxes (see Archie the Fox Dec 3 news). Our international activity increased with the relocation of lions given up by circuses in Western Europe, war zone rescues in the Middle East and in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia in support of anti-trafficking activity.

Our new Medicat program provided medical assistance for special procedures for rescued tigers in our partner sanctuaries in this country.

We would like to thank all our friends and family for your continued care and support. It was a good year for big cats.

The picture above is Christopher resting in the snow. Suggest you take a moment and do the same. The New Year begins on Wednesday and TIA will begin another year of getting big cats out of bad places. Thank you.
