Eko is a three-year old male Sumatran tiger born at the Oklahoma City Zoo as part of their Species Survival Plan in 2017. The zoo partnered with the Rainforest Trust and the contributions of zoogoers to purchase and protect 13,000 acres of rainforest in central Sumatra.
