Lions Rescued from Sudan

The 11 lions just completed the second part of their journey that originated in a conflict zone near Sudan’s capital Khartoum, paused in a sanctuary in Jordan, and then by air to their permanent home: a 3,000 acre sanctuary in Bethlehem, South Africa called Lionsrock. They are relieved to be free from the sights and sounds of war, adjusting to their new habitats and are receiving excellent care from their keepers. We are grateful for the Four Paws team led by Dr. Amir Khalil for making this possible.
